Get yourself an elderly pen pal

I asked my husband’s 88 year old aunt to be my pen pal and it has been a wonderful experience. Mostly I hear about things like whether or not her cactus has bloomed but she also dispenses advice from time to time. (The key to a long marriage? -Good girlfriends) and it makes me happy when I see a letter from her in my mailbox. Plus I think old people are better letter writers because they’ve had more practice.
